Learning Project Estimation: Scoping for Success

During the January ASTD Valley of the Sun luncheon Sherry Michaels, President of Michaels & Associates, and Beverly Tester, Director of Instructional Design at Michaels & Associates, will help you identify factors to consider when scoping a learning program. Whether you're a seasoned project manager or novice instructional designer working on your first project, your reaction to the question "How much will it take to develop this training project?" is probably a mixture of uncertainty and discomfort. It's never easy to estimate projects, with so many variables to consider. In this lunch/workshop session, you'll discover some scoping techniques that can help boost your confidence and improve the accuracy of your estimates.

During the 2010 Annual ASTD Valley of the Sun Chapter Conference Sherry Michaels, President of Michaels & Associates, co-presented with Kathy Crenshaw, Apollo Group, and Jennifer Witter, Witter Consulting, on “Managing Projects and Preventing Scope Creep”.
